Do you send an assessor to visit the patient before the service begins?
Before you book a Live in Nurse, our experienced Nurse Consultants work closely with you, the patient’s GP and any other local healthcare professionals involved in the care, to ascertain specific needs and circumstances. If we have any reason to believe that we cannot supply a consistent, suitable and reliable service, we do not accept the assignment.
Our Nurse Consultants formalise a care needs assessment for each new assignment. Our live in Nurse will review and revise this assessment within the first 24 hours of starting a new placement; she will also formulate a set of care plans and conduct a risk assessment.
We can arrange a pre-service assessment, should this be required and where our service is not being provided in an emergency.
