Why are your costs for 24/7 nursing care so low?
Costs are low partly because on-site standby is free i.e. if the patient does not need help during the Nurse's rest time there is no extra charge.
Also, if 'waking nights' are necessary we can provide two Nurses - one to work days and the other nights. Even though higher hourly rates apply overnight, you will inevitably find that our charges are far below what you would pay for local visiting agency staff on continuous shifts.
Our Nurses are highly skilled and experienced and many are of a high grade, yet they happily accept a lower than usual rate of pay for live in work. As a Private Live in Nurse, they have the opportunity to travel and meet new people; and they relish the opportunity of providing deeply meaningful one-to-one care and seeing how their efforts directly improve the health, spirits and confidence of their patients.
Our Nurses know will also benefit from ‘free’ meals and accommodation. Sometimes the cost of these expenses is met by the service provider and sometimes by the patient or their family.
